Esther Friesen

Esther Friesen serves as the Chief Risk & Credit Officer at Cambrian Credit Union since November 2018, having previously held key positions such as Director of Credit Solutions and Director of Commercial Credit Solutions at Assiniboine Credit Union from July 2016 to November 2018. Prior to that, Esther was Manager of Risk Management at Steinbach Credit Union from 2005 to 2016, where responsibilities included leading teams, resolving complex lending issues, and developing credit policies. Earlier experience includes managing a commercial lending portfolio and a role as Investment/Monitoring Analyst at Crocus Investment Fund, focusing on debt and equity investments. Esther Friesen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Manitoba.
