Thomas Grant

Thomas Grant has diverse work experience in the energy sector. Thomas started their career as an intern at GTM Construction, where they served as an Assistant Site Manager. Following this, they interned at MAYA Heat Transfer Technologies Ltd. as an Engineer Intern. Thomas then joined CETIM as a Fatigue Engineer Intern.

In 2005, Thomas became the R&D Director at Soltec Energías Renovables. In this role, they led a team of 7 and focused on improving competitiveness through innovation and cost-effective designs. Thomas successfully implemented ISO 9002 quality standard for industrial design, resulting in improved design quality. Thomas also managed the design of a solar plant in Israel in collaboration with Shikun and Binui.

Thomas went on to work as an MBA Business Consultant at GE Oil & Gas in 2014. Finally, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Cambridge Energy, a manufacturer of mobile solar trackers. In this role, Thomas oversaw the development and deployment of their scalable solar tracker, offering users high-quality solar energy and reducing stranded asset risk.

Thomas Grant completed their education with a BA in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, from Université de Sherbrooke between 2001 and 2005. Thomas then pursued further studies at EPF Engineering School from 2002 to 2005, obtaining a Master's - Diplome d'ingénieur in Materials and Structure Mechanics. Continuing their educational journey, Thomas completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an energy concentration at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2014.
