Chad Geringer

Chad Geringer has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Chad began their career as an Assistant Senior Biologist at Eli Lilly & Co. in April 1996 and worked there until November 2004.

Following that, Chad joined Applied Biosystems as a Field Applications Specialist from December 2004 to August 2005. Chad then moved on to Illumina, where they held various roles including Applications Scientist II from August 2005 to October 2006, Senior Territory Account Manager from November 2006 to March 2012, and Senior District Sales Manager for the Southwest region from April 2012 to August 2016.

Chad briefly worked at Fabric Genomics as the VP of Market Development & Sales from August 2016 to December 2016. Chad then returned to Illumina and held several positions including Senior Clinical Sales Manager for the AMR Pacific region from January 2017 to February 2018, Head of Technologies & Regional Accounts for the EMEA-Interim Head NEU Subregion from February 2018 to June 2020, and Director of Global Commercial Partnerships from July 2020 to March 2021.

After Illumina, Chad joined Twist Bioscience as the Director of NGS Sales for the Americas and EMEA from April 2021 to March 2022. Chad then moved on to CS Genetics as the Vice President of Global Sales from April 2022 to April 2023.

Currently, Chad is working as the Director of Business Development at BioModal since May 2023.

Chad Geringer graduated from DePauw University in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. Chad then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Medical & Molecular Genetics from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2004.
