Lisa Costa

Lisa Costa has a strong background in risk management and patient safety within the healthcare industry. Lisa is currently working as the Privacy & Risk Lead at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Prior to this, Lisa held various roles at Grand River Hospital, including Director of Risk Management & Patient Safety, Patient Relations Advisor, and Risk Management Coordinator. Lisa also served as the Director of Quality, Risk & Organizational Development and Chief Privacy Officer at St. Mary's General Hospital. Earlier in their career, Lisa worked as the Manager of Quality, Planning & Risk Management at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and held managerial positions at Providence Healthcare, where they served as the Manager of Client Services and Project Manager of Decision Support. Lisa began their career as an Administrative Intern at Providence Healthcare and worked as a Nursing Assistant at Hilltop Nursing Home.

Lisa Costa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Gerontology from the University of Waterloo - St. Jerome's University. Lisa also holds a Master of Health Services Administration degree with a focus on Health Law from Dalhousie University.
