Lisa Giles

Lisa Giles, PhD, serves as the Lead Technical Writer at BioScience Writers, LLC since April 2019, where responsibilities include collaborating with researchers on manuscript preparation for journal submission and managing journal formatting. Additional roles include freelance academic editing through Lisa Giles Editing and contract editing for The Charlesworth Group, Cambridge Proofreading LLC, Edanz Group, Blue Pencil Science, Enago, and American Journal Experts, focusing on improving readability and formatting of scientific manuscripts. Lisa completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan, investigating the folding process of Factor VIII, and earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Emory University, preceded by a B.A. in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University.
