Roy Bates

Roy Bates has a comprehensive work experience in the banking industry. Roy started their career as a Loan Officer at The First National Bank of Boston in 1983 and then moved on to All Metals Industries, Inc. where they served as the Chief Financial Officer. In 1988, they joined BankBoston as a Vice President and worked there until 1998. Roy then became a Vice President at State Street for two years before joining Citizens Bank as a Senior Vice President. In 2009, they joined TD Bank, N.A. as the SVP/Market Commercial Credit Manager and later became the Chief Credit Officer at Cambridge Savings Bank in 2014. Most recently, they have been working as a Commercial Loan Review Officer at TIAA Bank since 2020.

Roy Bates has an MBA in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Tufts University.
