Allison E. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Allison has held various leadership and communication roles over the years. Allison is currently serving as the Vice President of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, where they oversee the Board of Directors, creates strategic plans, and manages the orchestra's development committee. Allison also has experience working in a prestigious academic institution, Harvard Medical School, as an Executive Communications Manager. There, they were responsible for developing content, such as speeches and articles, to promote the dean's vision. Prior to that, they worked as a Presidential Development Writer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Allison has also worked as a freelance writer at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and as a Digital Editor at NOVA | PBS, where they reported and edited feature stories on science and the environment. Allison has a strong background in writing and journalism, having worked as an Editorial Intern at Symphony Magazine and The Buffalo News, as well as holding positions as Contributing Writer, Peer Writing Tutor, and Editor-in-Chief at Hamilton College's publications.
