Michael Bordenca

Michael Bordenca has extensive experience in the banking industry. Michael began their career as a Branch Manager at RBS Citizens Group in 2005 and held this position until 2014. During their time there, they successfully achieved financial goals, maintained high customer satisfaction scores, and was responsible for managing a $122 million branch.

After leaving RBS Citizens Group, they joined Workers Credit Union as an AVP, Branch Manager. In this role, they played a key role in the core member project, presenting innovative ideas to senior management. Michael also implemented a successful teller sales program.

In 2016, Michael advanced to the role of VP, Commercial Lending at Workers Credit Union. In this capacity, they managed credit underwriting, loan operations, and reporting for various types of loans. Michael led collection efforts, conducted credit trainings for retail managers, and achieved impressive loan production results.

Most recently, Michael joined Cambridge Trust Company as the VP, Special Asset Recovery. Michael then transitioned to the role of VP, Credit Risk Manager in 2023.

Michael Bordenca attended Massachusetts Bay Community College from 2003 to 2005. Michael studied Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies during this time. Following that, they enrolled at New England College of Business in 2017 and is expected to complete their degree in Business Administration and Management, General by 2024.
