Laurent Arnoldi is a physicist engineer currently employed at CAMECA since November 2019. Prior to this role, Laurent worked as a post-doctoral researcher in instrumentation and material analysis at Université de Rouen Normandie from April 2017 to September 2019, focusing on the development of atom-probe analysis techniques and conducting material science analysis and simulations. From April 2015 to March 2017, Laurent served as a post-doctoral researcher at imec, specializing in laser-atom-probe analysis for various materials used in electronics. Laurent's academic journey includes a PhD in physics from Université de Rouen, where research centered on laser interactions with nanopoints under strong electric fields, complemented by a master's degree in material science from the same institution, and earlier studies in physics at Université Savoie Mont Blanc.
