Shawn Exner

Shawn Exner's work experience begins in 1992 as a Senior Associate at Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountants, where they supervised the annual audit of a large mining client and handled special engagements. In 1995, they joined Deloitte & Touche Chartered Accountants as a Senior Accountant, assisting with business valuations and financial modeling for a transportation company. In 1996, they joined Cameco Corporation as a Senior Accountant/Supervisor, overseeing the financial consolidation of worldwide operations. Shawn later became the Manager of Financial Planning and then the Director of Corporate Development at Cameco Corporation, where they led evaluations of merger and acquisition opportunities, managed strategic asset management, and conducted complex negotiations.

Shawn Exner completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992. Shawn also obtained a Chartered Accountant Designation from the Saskatchewan Institute in 1994.
