Shelby Shields Thrash

Shelby Shields Thrash currently serves as the Director of Lymphedema Services at G. V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center since September 2020. With extensive experience in the field of occupational therapy, Shelby has held various positions, including Lymphedema/Occupational Therapist at Baptist Memorial Health Care since January 2015 and Certified Lymphedema Therapist at Camellia Healthcare since September 2013. Previous roles include CSS Rehab Educator/Occupational Therapist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Pediatric Burn Therapist at Children's of Alabama. Shelby began a career in occupational therapy at Medicomp Ltd. from August 2007 to May 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University.
