Ka-El M. Zakiah

Ka-El M. Zakiah is an accomplished art educator and artist with extensive experience in teaching and creative roles. Currently serving as an Art Teacher at Camelot Education since August 2021, Ka-El has previously held teaching positions at One River School of Art + Design and Camelot Excel Academy. In addition to art education, Ka-El has worked as a Sale Consultant in kitchen and bath remodels at Ka-EL Zakiah Sales Marketing / Empire Today and as a Kitchen Designer at Home Depot. As a freelancer, Ka-El has maintained a commitment to artistic practice since 1994. Ka-El's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Painting & Drawing and a Master of Education in Art Education, both from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts and studies in International Studies, Philosophy, and Fine Art from various institutions.
