Rishad A. Sathar

Rishad A. Sathar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and implementation of integrated financial management systems. Currently serving as a Professional Services Consultant at FreeBalance since November 2020, Rishad has contributed to the successful implementation of core financial modules for the governments of Sri Lanka, Brazil, and Trinidad and Tobago. Previously, Rishad held positions including Finance Officer at Qatar Airways, where responsibilities encompassed all aspects of financial accounting; Head of Finance at Lava International Limited, managing financial reporting and working capital; Senior Accounts Executive at Etisalat Lanka, ensuring timely financial closing and accurate accounts payable; and Senior Associate at PwC, completing audits for multiple clients and achieving significant recognition and advancement. Rishad holds an ACA and ACMA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, respectively, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
