Ana Rita de Castro is an experienced professional with a solid background in international relations and cooperation. Currently serving as a Técnica Superior at Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I.P. since June 2018, Ana Rita focuses on Multilateral Affairs as a desk officer for the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) and Ibero-American cooperation. Previously, Ana Rita has held positions as an International Election Observer for the European Union and CPLP since 2004, and as a Técnica Superior in various capacities, including institutional cooperation and project management against poverty in Timor-Leste. Ana Rita's earlier roles include working in the field of drug and addiction treatment and providing training in protocol and event management. Ana Rita's educational background includes a degree in International Relations from ISCSP - Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and a postgraduate degree in African Studies from the University of Lisbon.
