Zachary Friedman

Zachary Friedman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Zachary is currently employed as the Camp Director at Camp Emerson since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania from September 2021 to December 2022, where they taught courses on nonprofit leadership and positive psychology at work. Zachary also served as the Assistant Director at Eden Village West from September 2017 to August 2020, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the camp. Zachary has experience as the Camp Director and Director of Public Programs at Urban Adamah from September 2013 to August 2017, where they directed the summer camp, managed budgets, and organized various public programs. Before that, they worked as a Science Teacher at The East Harlem School at Exodus House from August 2010 to August 2012. Zachary also has experience as a Chemist I at Chemic Laboratories Inc. from December 2009 to June 2010 and as a Program Director at YMCA Camp Coniston from June 2008 to August 2009.

Zachary Friedman pursued their education in a chronological manner. Zachary first attended Tufts University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Their educational journey continued as they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania from 2020 to 2021. During this period, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania.
