Catherine Ballard

Catherine Ballard is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for Camp Merrie-Woode since February 2023. Previously, Catherine held roles including Communications Specialist and Communications Intern at Charter Institute at Erskine from May 2021 to April 2022, and Social Media Coordinator at Garnet Media Group from November 2020 to October 2021, where responsibilities included managing social media accounts and organizing campaigns. Additional experience includes working as a Marketing and Advertising Account Representative and as a Senior Counselor at Camp Illahee. Catherine’s early roles include hostessing at Sermet’s Courtyard and serving as an Assistant Swim Coach and Lifeguard at The I'On Club. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina in 2022, following a high school diploma from Bishop England High School in 2018.
