Ryan Bicknell

Ryan Bicknell serves as a member of the Board of Directors and co-director of clinical operations for the Human Mobility Research Centre at Queen's University, where Ryan also holds multiple academic positions including Research Director of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, Associate Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Mechanical and Materials Engineering, and has a cross-appointment as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. Ryan's contributions extend to being a consultant for the Workplace Safety Insurance Board and serving as Vice President of Research for the Canadian Shoulder and Elbow Society. As an examiner for the Orthopaedic Surgery Examination Board of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and medical director at the Upper Extremity Specialty Clinic, Ryan is actively involved in clinical practice within various hospitals in Kingston. Academically, Ryan has completed fellowships in shoulder and elbow surgery across several prestigious institutions and has a strong educational background in medicine and biophysics from leading Canadian universities.
