Doug Stillings has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and IT roles. Doug started their career in 2002 as an IT Manager at Monahan Printing and Direct Mail, where they maintained a Windows 2000 network and created automation code. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as an IT Conversion Coordinator at Output Services, where they coordinated new jobs with the IT department and processed data lists for mailing.
In 2010, Doug held two positions simultaneously. Doug worked as an Associate Software Engineering Intern at InfoPrint Solutions, where they migrated a company wiki page and created a manual for future upgrades. Doug also served as a Student Assistant II at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Doug then became a Student Assistant III at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. During this time, they researched and documented a process for migrating software and updated code for various databases. Doug also had a brief role as an Associate Software Engineering Intern at Ricoh Americas Corporation, where they researched and documented a process for migrating software databases.
In 2014, Doug co-founded Rocky Mountain Mojo, a startup focused on creating web and mobile applications. As a Co-Owner and Founder, they were responsible for technical and financial decisions and also worked as a software engineer for the back end of the applications.
Most recently, Doug worked as a Software Engineer at CampMinder since 2016. Doug'sresponsibilities included maintaining the monolithic system, migrating code to microservices in Golang running in Kubernetes in AKS, and maintaining a Java desktop application.
Doug Stillings attended Front Range Community College from 2005 to 2009. Doug did not complete a degree or specify a field of study at this institution. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating in 2012.
