Brian Mackrill

Brian Mackrill is the Group CFO and Treasurer at Campus Living Villages Pty Limited. Brian has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry.

Brian Mackrill started their career at Westfield Retail Trust, where they were the Chief Financial Officer. Brian was responsible for statutory reporting, board reporting, planning and forecasting (operational, development and corporate), treasury, equity capital markets, investor relations (equity and debt), tax and enterprise risk. Brian worked closely with the CEO and board to plan and execute the strategy. Brian was also responsible for results presentations, and presenting to investors and analysts with the CEO at global investor conferences (Aust/US/Europe/Asia).

In September 2016, Brian Mackrill joined Sydney Motorway Corporation as the Chief Finance and Investment Officer. In this role, they were responsible for a team of 40 finance and risk professionals covering board reporting, investment feasibilities and returns, statutory reporting, planning and forecasting (operational, development and corporate), treasury funding and risk management, investor relations and project controls. Brian worked closely with the CEO and board to plan and execute SMC’s strategy.

In December 2018, Brian Mackrill joined Campus Living Villages Pty Limited as the Group CFO and Treasurer.

Brian Mackrill completed their HSC at Asquith Boys High School. Brian then attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they graduated. Brian Mackrill then completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Macquarie University. Finally, they completed a Master's degree in Applied Finance at Macquarie University.

Brian Mackrill works with Justine Cooper - Group Sustainability and Corporate Communications Executive, Head of Sales and Marketing ANZ, Mat Panopoulos - Group Capital Transactions and Strategy Officer, and Simone O’Brien - Group Risk Executive. Their manager is John Schroder, Group Managing Director.
