Amara Graham

Amara Graham has a diverse range of work experience. Amara currently serves as the Head of Developer Experience at Camunda, where they focus on external developer enablement through documentation and SDKs. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Developer Relations at Wowza Media Systems. Amara also worked at IBM, where they held the position of Senior Developer Advocate and curated technical content for conferences and workshops on Watson, AR/VR, and AI. Amara Graham also has experience at Intel Corporation, where they served as the Analytics Community Manager & AI Developer Advocate and later as an Enterprise Applications Capability Engineer, and as an Application Developer at Friedrich Air Conditioning. Amara began their career as a Lead Lifeguard at the YMCA of Greater Houston.

Amara Graham earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Trinity University from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including being a cdCon 2022 Speaker from The Linux Foundation and certifications from IBM in Watson Assistant Foundations, Watson Visual Recognition, Watson and Cloud Foundations, Build Your Own Chatbot - Level 1, Python for Data Science, and IBM Design Thinking Practitioner. Amara also has a certification in Getting Started with Containers on IBM Cloud.
