Kevin Slates

Kevin Slates is an experienced environmental professional with a diverse background in project management and ecological sciences. Currently serving as an Environmental Project Manager at Canacre since June 2023, Kevin previously held the position of Senior Environmental Scientist at Terracon from June 2019 to January 2023. Kevin's career includes significant roles such as Senior Rail Permitting Specialist at CH2M and Senior Ecologist and Project Manager at AECOM, where expertise in wetland delineation, NEPA documentation, and ecological surveys was developed. Additional experience was gained as an Ecologist at Adaptive Ecosystems and a Wildlife Management Biologist at the Missouri Department of Conservation. Kevin's foundational experience includes roles as a Natural Resources Division Supervisor and Fisheries Technician, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Fort Hays State University.
