Jordi Fernandez

Jordi Fernandez currently serves as the Head Coach for both the Brooklyn Nets and the Senior Men's National Team of Canada Basketball, positions held since May 2024 and July 2023, respectively. Prior to these roles, Fernandez was the Associate Head Coach for the Sacramento Kings from May 2022 to May 2024 and an Assistant Coach for the Denver Nuggets from July 2016 to July 2023, with additional experience coaching international teams, including a bronze medal achievement at Eurobasket 2017. Their coaching career began with the Canton Charge in the NBA D-League, and JORDI has also served as a Player Development Coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In academia, Fernandez contributed to the INEFC Lleida as an Assistant Professor while pursuing a PhD in Sports Psychology. Educational qualifications include a degree in Sports Sciences from INEF Catalunya and attendance at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
