Matthew Gibbons BSc FCCA, CA has work experience in the field of reinsurance accounting and assurance. Matthew started their career in 2008 as an Assurance Supervisor at PwC East Caribbean, where they worked with clients in the insurance and financial industries. Matthew'sresponsibilities included assisting in all stages of audit engagements, tax review, drafting financial statements, meeting with clients, and providing supervision to audit staff. In 2015, they joined Canada Life Reinsurance as a Reinsurance Accountant, where they worked with both life and non-life lines of business.

Matthew Gibbons BSc FCCA, CA began their education in 2002 at Barbados Community College, where they obtained a Certificate in Information Technology. Matthew then pursued an Associate's degree in Geography and Accounts from the same institution, completing it in 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2008, they attended The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting. Lastly, they enrolled in ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) from 2009 to 2012, specializing in Accounting. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Information Technology from Barbados Community College in September 2002.
