Zahra Jafarzadeh

Zahra Jafarzadeh is an accomplished Animation Artist currently working at Ingenium since December 2022, contributing to the visual storytelling project “Storying Women’s Energy Narratives in Canada” at the Canada Energy Museum in collaboration with the University of Calgary. Previously, Zahra served as Composite and VFX Supervisor at Harekat-e-Kelidi Animation Studio from March 2016 to August 2022 and also worked in Motion Design and Motion Graphics for the animated short film L’Aube Bleu, directed by Merlin Pitois, at DeFFI - De Fil en Films from June 2020 to July 2021. Zahra holds a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from the University of Calgary, being pursued from August 2022 to September 2024, a Master of Fine Arts in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects from Iran's University of Art (2012-2015), and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from the same institution (2008-2012).
