Andrew Simms P.Eng., PMP is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and systems engineering across various sectors, including maritime and aviation. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer for the Canadian Coast Guard on Polar Icebreaker projects, Andrew previously held leadership roles at Lockheed Martin and Thales, focusing on the Canadian Surface Combatant and offshore oceanographic vessels. With a solid foundation in engineering management, bolstered by a Master of Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies, Andrew has demonstrated expertise in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, technical interface development, and complex stakeholder problem resolution in integrated navigation systems and aviation.
