Steve London

Steve London is an accomplished lecturer and teacher with extensive experience in film composition and music education. Currently serving at The Den Collective, Inc. since April 2020, Steve provides private lessons through an online teaching portal, focusing on film composition, traditional harmony, counterpoint, songwriting, and beginning oboe and piano. Additionally, since March 2012, Steve has lectured at the Canadian Film Centre's Slaight Music program, covering essential topics such as budgeting for film composition projects and mastering technical skills. Steve also contributed as a mentor for the Vancouver Post Alliance in 2021 and played a crucial role as producer and co-creator of the true crime documentary series "Between Black and Blue" from 2010 to 2021. Steve’s educational background includes an Advanced Certificate in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television from the University of Southern California and a degree from Queen's University.
