Ray Gosine

Ray Gosine is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in engineering and research. Currently serving as a Professor at the University of Toronto and a Fellow at CIFAR, Ray's expertise spans mechanical and industrial engineering, as well as innovation and equity in prosperity. Additionally, Ray has held positions at Memorial University of Newfoundland since 1994, including Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Associate Vice-President (Research). Ray's leadership roles extend to being a Visiting Professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy and various fellowships and board memberships with notable organizations such as Engineers Canada and The Canadian Academy of Engineering. Ray obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University.
