Jake Zack

Jake Zack has over 25 years of experience in network architecture and systems administration, currently serving as a DNS Architect, Anycast Network Architect, and Senior Linux Systems Administrator at the Canadian Internet Registration Authority since June 2008. Jake has also been appointed to the Computer Security & Investigations Program Advisory Committee at Fleming College since May 2021 and serves on the DNS-OARC Program Committee, contributing to knowledge sharing within the global DNS community since November 2018. As a co-founder and director of the Ottawa Internet Exchange from December 1999 to May 2018, Jake played a pivotal role in establishing one of Canada's major Internet exchanges. Previous roles include Sr. Network Engineer at Cybersurf Internet Access, Sr. Systems/Network Administrator positions at various companies, and technical support and administration roles throughout the career. Jake Zack holds a High School Advanced Placement Diploma with Honors from Carrick High School, completed in 1997.
