Elizabeth Shotton

Elizabeth Shotton is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and industrial liaison, currently serving as Head of Industrial Liaison at Diamond Light Source since June 2007. In addition to this role, Elizabeth is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee at Canadian Light Source Inc., a Non Executive Director at Quantum Detectors Ltd., and a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for both European Spallation Source ERIC and the School of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Leeds. Past positions include Treasurer and Trustee for the British Crystallographic Association and a member of the External Advisory Board at the University of Reading. Elizabeth's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from UCL, an MBA from The Open University, and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews.
