Maxine Kashton

Maxine Kashton is the current Director of Operations/COO at Canadian Lutheran World Relief. Maxine has previously worked as the Chief Operating Officer at CLWR from December 2018 to January 2022 and as the Chief Financial Officer at The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce from June 2008 to September 2018.

Maxine has a wealth of experience in managing day-to-day operations, finance, human resources, administration, and information technology. In the absence of the Executive Director, they are responsible for undertaking the role of Acting Executive Director.

Maxine is a highly motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by humanitarian crisis. Maxine is committed to their work and takes great pride in their accomplishments.

Maxine Kashton is a CPA and CMA professional designation holder who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Winnipeg.

Maxine Kashton reports to Karin Achtelstetter, Executive Director. Maxine Kashton works with Lisa Breton-Kletke - Senior Director, Finance & Operations, John Constable - Director, Community & Donor Relations, and Fikre Tsehai - Senior Policy Advisor.
