National Program Manager at Canadian Mental Health

Bonnie Lipton-Bos is the National Program Manager at Canadian Mental Health. Bonnie has worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years, and has been with Canadian Mental Health for the past 3 years.

Previously, Bonnie was the Director of Student Success Services at Conestoga College, where they provided strategic direction for the design, planning, implementation, and assessment of student success services. Bonnie also established policies, procedures, and standards for services, programs, and initiatives to engage, support, develop, and retain students.

Before their work at Conestoga College, Bonnie was a Mobile Crisis Team member with the Canadian Mental Health Association in Waterloo Wellington. In this role, Bonnie provided crisis prevention, assessment, and intervention to individuals in crisis situations. Bonnie also documented interventions, compiled statistics, and coordinated day and overnight on-call schedules. Additionally, Bonnie facilitated community education and training on mental health and crisis intervention.

Bonnie has a wealth of experience in the field of mental health, and is committed to helping others in times of need.

Bonnie Lipton-Bos has a Masters in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and a BSc in Psychology, Biology from the University of Prince Edward Island. Bonnie has also completed certifications from LivingWorks Australia in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills and from the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NABITA) in NABITA SIVRA-35 and NABITA BIT Standards and Best Practices. Additionally, they are a Certified Personality Dimensions Trainer from Career/LifeSkills Resources Inc.

Bonnie Lipton-Bos reports to Denise Silverstone, National Director, Programs & Services. They work with Amanda Dennie - National Coordinator, Programs & Services, Amy Johnson - Coordinator, CSPS Volunteer & Stakeholder Engagement, and Lee Taylor - National Manager, Stakeholder Engagement, Canadian Suicide Prevention Service.
