Nayan Bharadwa

Nayan Bharadwa is the Vice President of Automated Rail and Technology at CN, a position held since December 2016, where responsibilities include the strategy, design, and implementation of Operational Technology (OT) for Automated Train Operation (ATO) to enhance safety, reliability, and capacity. Prior to this role, Nayan served as Assistant Vice President, Operational Technology, and Senior Director of CN Operational Technology, focusing on the integration of Positive Train Control (PTC) within a comprehensive OT portfolio using the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data. Nayan has also held leadership positions at Wind River, Genband, and Nortel Networks, with extensive experience in carrier-grade infrastructure and network operations. Nayan holds a Bachelor of Science, Honors, in Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, earned between 1986 and 1989.
