Alireza Abdolmaleki

Alireza Abdolmaleki, Ph.D., P. Eng, is a seasoned materials and welding engineer currently serving as a Senior Materials & Welding Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since October 2018, where responsibilities include supporting downstream projects. Prior to CNRL, Alireza was a Senior Materials Reliability Engineer at Suncor Energy Ltd. from January 2009 to October 2018, focusing on integrity management of upgrading facilities within the Technical and Reliability department. Alireza's career began at the National Iranian Oil Company, where a role as a Corrosion & Materials Engineer spanned from September 1991 to July 2008, culminating in a leadership position as head of the corrosion department and conducting various failure analysis and corrosion projects for the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. Alireza holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
