Shane Gould

Shane Gould has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the energy industry. Shane is currently working as the Operations Team Lead at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Gould Enterprises from February 2021 to January 2022, where they were open to new opportunities.

Before joining CNRL, Shane worked at Cenovus Energy for a significant duration. From September 2011 to February 2021, they held multiple roles within the company. Shane started as an Operations Specialist PDO and offsites, then moved on to become the Operations Lead/Coordinator/Specialist. Shane also had experience as the Deoiling Operations lead, Process Operations Lead, Process Coordinator, and PDO coordinator during their time at Cenovus Energy.

Shane's earliest work experience in the energy industry was at Shell Canada, where they worked from 1989 to 2011. Here, they held various roles as a Power Engineer-Commissioning Operator/Cogen Operator/Shift Coordinator. Shane also worked as a Power Engineer-Operator, starting in boiler house and water plant operations, then moving to field operations and eventually running the control room Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS panel.

Shane Gould obtained a 4th Class Certificate in Power Engineering from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) between 1988 and 1989.
