Lauren Telfer

Lauren Telfer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lauren began their career in 2010 as a Media Relations & Group Information Session Coordinator for Service Canada Centre for Youth. In 2011, they worked as a Community Outreach Representative & Media Relations for Team Victoria at BC Hydro.

In 2012, Lauren joined Calgary Stampede as a Media Relations Coordinator before transitioning to Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts, where they served as a Media and Marketing Manager from 2012 to 2015. Lauren then became the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the same company from 2015 to 2020.

In 2019, Lauren worked as a Marketing Consultant at Western Securities Limited before joining ICEsoft Technologies in 2020. At ICEsoft, they took on the role of Director of Marketing for both ICEsoft Technologies and Voyent Alert!. In 2021, Lauren re-joined Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts as the Director of Marketing & Communications.

Throughout their career, Lauren has showcased their expertise in marketing, communications, media relations, and public relations. Lauren has likely developed strong skills in strategic planning, brand management, and campaign development.

Lauren Telfer's education history begins in 2005 when they enrolled at the University of Victoria. Lauren completed their Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in 2010, majoring in Biology and Psychology. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in an exchange program with the University of Exeter in 2007-2008.

Following their undergraduate studies, Lauren pursued a Master of Science degree in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. Lauren completed the first year of their master's program in 2012 before moving on to other educational pursuits.

In 2014, Lauren attended the Institute of Communications Agencies, where they obtained the Communication and Advertising Accredited Professional (CAAP) certification. Lauren completed this program in 2015.
