Violet Hou

Violet Hou, MBA, CPA, currently serves as Manager of Margin Accounting at Canadian Tire Corporation since August 2019, following roles as Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst. Prior to this, Violet held the position of Associate Director of Finance at Vastly from June 2017 to November 2018, leading controllership and financial planning initiatives, and providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting. Earlier experience includes a role as Strategy Intern at Vastly where market strategies for B2B products were developed, and a significant tenure as Senior Associate in Accounting Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited, where financial models and tax inspections were conducted for multinational clients. Violet earned an MBA with a focus on Corporate Finance from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Economics in Finance from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
