Vanessa Wolff

National Education Representative at Canadian Union of Public Employees

Vanessa Wolff has over 35 years of experience in social work and union representation. Currently serving as the National Education Representative at the Canadian Union of Public Employees since January 1998, Vanessa collaborates with District Councils, Locals, and Members to provide educational opportunities and support the Union Development Department. Additional roles at CUPE include National Health & Safety Representative, focused on prevention and support for public service members in British Columbia, and National Servicing Representative, handling grievances and conflict resolution. Prior experience includes working as a Fostercare/Child & Youth Social Worker at the Children's Aid Society of Toronto from 1988 to 1997, where responsibilities encompassed supervising foster homes and providing training and resources. Vanessa holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a Child & Youth Work Diploma.
