André Pieterse, CFA

André Pieterse, CFA has a decade of professional experience. From 2010 to 2021, they have held various roles in accounting, finance, and language teaching. In 2010, they began their career as a Trainee Accountant at Schoombie Auditors. André then moved to Rautenbach & van Niekerk as an Accountant in 2013. In 2014, they became an English Language Teacher at Gyeonggi English Village, and in 2016 they took a similar role at Melish Language School. In 2018, they were an Equity Analyst at Phase V. In 2019, they became a Financial Analyst at Pacific M&A and Business Brokers Ltd. In 2020, they were an Associate at Lightheart Management Partners. Currently, they are an M&A Associate at Mantaro Capital Corp. and an Equity Research Analyst at Canalyst, where they build and maintains fundamental models for the world's largest investment managers.

André Pieterse, CFA obtained their Bachelor of Commerce Honours, Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town in 2019. André completed their Bachelor in Accounting from Stellenbosch University in 2009. In 2021, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute. André also obtained an Excel 2016: Macros in Depth certification from Lynda.com in 2019 and a BLOOMBERG MARKET CONCEPTS certification from Bloomberg LP.
