Julie Lavoie

Julie Lavoie has extensive experience in health, safety, and environment management, currently serving as the Director of Health, Safety & Environment at Canam since March 2018. Prior to this role, Julie held significant positions at Rio Tinto as Executive Director HSEC and at Canam Group, where responsibilities included overseeing health and safety culture and developing management systems. Julie's earlier experience includes leadership roles in environment, health, and safety management at Imperial Tobacco Canada and Pharmascience, as well as at L'Oréal. Julie holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from Université Laval and a Master's degree in Applied Ergonomics to Occupational Health and Safety from Université du Québec à Montréal.
