We have an immediate opening for a Hardware Support Engineer. This position requires teamwork and the ability to communicate in written and spoken English. Responsibilities Include:

  • Working closely with clients and teammates to resolve technical issues

  • Becoming proficient in Campbell Scientific CRBasic programming (we will teach you)

  • Becoming proficient in MLBasic (Canary Systems proprietary programming language for new MLBase/MLRemote hardware) (we all learned it, and you will too!)

  • Integrating new monitoring instrumentation with Canary Systems MLSuite software by researching device capabilities, determining technical requirements, and documenting methodologies

  • Resolve client technical support issues using a ticketing platform.

  • Supporting and troubleshooting Canary Systems MLSuite applications

  • Performing hardware and software testing

Expertise Desired:

  • Tech troubleshooting
  • Electronics aptitude
  • Understanding of:
    • Serial communication protocols
    • Wi-Fi networking experience
    • TCP and UDP networking protocols
    • Binary/Hexadecimal math
    • Campbell Scientific CR Basic programming
