Jakub Hovanec

Jakub Hovanec is an experienced network engineering professional currently serving as a Network Engineer at CANCOM Slovakia since March 2021, where responsibilities include configuring and deploying next-generation firewall features from FortiNet, managing and troubleshooting FortiGate and network issues, and participating in project development. Prior to this, Jakub worked at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia from May 2018 to March 2021, progressing from Network Administrator II to Network Administrator III in the Data Center Network Operations. In these roles, Jakub provided second and third-level support, implemented complex network changes, and coordinated major activities within the network infrastructure.
