Chris Schertzer has had extensive work experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on service operations and technical support. Chris began their career at Lumenis in 1986 as a Service Manager, responsible for customer satisfaction and managing the service department's budget. Chris then worked at Rhytec as the Director of Service Operations, where they provided direction on day-to-day operations, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Following that, Chris joined Laser Light and Plasma Services as an Independent Sales and Service representative, offering one-time service and sales of medical lasers. Chris later became a Territory Manager at Alcon, a Novartis company, before joining Optos as the Director of Field Service for North America. At Optos, they managed a team of Field Service Engineers and provided forecasting for capital expenditures. Chris then joined Syneron Candela as a Technical Support Manager, overseeing technical support groups and global support for several brands. Currently, they are the Director of Global Service Engineering & Technical Support at Candela Medical, where they lead a call center of technical support staff.
Chris Schertzer obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Management from DeVry University, attending from 2000 to 2004. In 2018, they also completed a Project Management Course organized by Brain Sensi. Prior to their college education, Chris Schertzer attended John Glenn High School.
