Andrew Shvarts

Andrew Shvarts is a seasoned game designer and writer with extensive experience in the interactive storytelling industry. Currently serving as Head of Design and Co-Founder at Candlelight Games since March 2024, Andrew previously held the role of Creative Director at Pixelberry Studios from September 2021 to March 2024, where significant contributions were made to the StoryLoom platform. Andrew's prior tenure at Pixelberry Studios spanned from 2012 to 2021, encompassing roles such as Director of Writing/Narrative Designer and Lead Designer, leading teams to create successful narratives for titles like Choices: Stories You Play and High School Story. Earlier experience includes a position as Game Writer at Electronic Arts, where foundational work was done on the Surviving High School franchise. Andrew earned a B.A. in English and Russian from Vassar College in 2007.
