Jennifer Hartzler

Jennifer Hartzler is currently the Head of Legal at Candy. Jennifer has over 10 years of experience in legal, with a focus on international arbitration. Jennifer started their career at Herbert Smith Freehills as a Senior Associate in 2010, before moving to the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) as Counsel in 2015. In 2018, they took a secondment at Uber as Senior Counsel for the EMEA region. Jennifer then joined AlphaSights in November 2018 as the Vice President and Head of Legal, where they built the legal team from scratch and oversaw its growth to 11 members across 3 offices.

Jennifer Hartzler attended the Queen Mary University of London as part of a Juris Doctorate Exchange Program where they studied International Arbitration & Commercial Law, as well as International Finance. Jennifer then completed their Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, with a focus in International Law. Jennifer also participated in a Summer Exchange Program at the University of Cape Town, where they studied Law. Ms. Hartzler holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida, and they earned their Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Central Florida (Magna Cum Laude).
