Avi Fisch

Avi Fisch is an experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background in product design, development, and manufacturing across various industries. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Canfield Scientific since October 2022, Avi focuses on camera-based imaging equipment for dermatological and cosmetic applications. Previous roles include engineering and consulting at Steelhead Technology, where innovative medical devices were developed, and design engineering at Enerpac Tool Group, specializing in tooling solutions for the Nuclear Power industry. As the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at EGW Technologies, Avi led the development of advanced consumer products, including Bluetooth headphones and a baby video monitor system. Additional experiences include research and development for military applications, engineering management in specialty lighting, and contributions to robotics and mechatronics at Northeastern University. Avi holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia Engineering.
