Ryan Ballantyne

Ryan Ballantyne has over 16 years of professional experience in retail operations and FMCG supply chain. Ryan has held various executive management roles in operations, logistics, continuous improvement, and work health safety. Ryan has extensive experience in leading high-performing teams. Ryan served as the Managing Director at Canngea since September 2017. Prior to that, they worked at ALDI Stores Australia, where they held multiple roles including Executive Project Manager (Supply Chain), Corporate Logistics Manager, Corporate Safety Manager, Area Manager, and Logistics Manager between 2010 and 2021. Ryan also pursued their MBA part-time at The University of Sydney Business School from August 2017 to March 2021. Before that, they worked at CAPESTORM Retail (Pty) Ltd. as the Business Development and Supply Chain Manager and also held roles as a Business Development Coordinator and Retail Administrator from 2005 to 2010.

Ryan Ballantyne completed their education at The University of Sydney Business School from 2017 to 2021, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Cape Town from 2004 to 2007, obtaining a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Organisational Psychology and Philosophy. Ryan also holds additional certifications, including membership in the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a White Belt Certification in Lean Capabilities & Principles from Lean-Quest, LLC.
