Nirmal Samrai

Nirmal has worked within the Housing Sector since 1988. She started her career at Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council within the Housing Department. In 2004 she moved to Aspire Housing and then in 2008 she joined Meres & Mosses Housing Association (MMHA) as Head of Housing and Support. MMHA was part of a group structure with the South Shropshire Housing Association and following an internal restructure Nirmal was appointed by Shropshire Housing Group as Head of Housing and was also the former Chair of The Chartered Institute of Housing - West Midlands Board.

Nirmal joined the Council in November 2016.
