Patrick McDonnell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Patrick is currently working as a Digital Product Manager at Cannondale since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from 2017 to 2021, where they served as a Digital Product Specialist, responsible for managing NOOK mobile apps and product roadmap.

Before joining Barnes & Noble, Inc., Patrick worked at News America Marketing from 2012 to 2017. During their tenure, they held the positions of Business Analyst and Mobile Technical Specialist. As a Business Analyst, they led application design and UX, managed application deployment, and optimized iOS App Store keywords and screenshots. As a Mobile Technical Specialist, they worked on SmartSource Xpress mobile apps, tracking defects, performing testing, and providing customer support.

Patrick also gained valuable experience working at Apple from 2008 to 2012 as a Genius, where they provided technical support, hardware repair, and software guidance to customers and employees. Patrick developed software toolboxes and workflow policies for Genius Bar appointments that were implemented in Apple Stores nationwide.

In addition, Patrick worked as a Mobile Content Assistant at Mobicious from 2007 to 2008, and as a Computer Support Assistant at Boston University College of Fine Arts in 2007.

Patrick McDonnell attended Carmel High School from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their diploma. Patrick then went on to study at Boston University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Film & Television. In 2011, McDonnell obtained a certification as an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician from AppleCare.
