Cheryl Cook

Cheryl Cook has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of interior design. Cheryl began their career at Exotic Marble & Tile, Inc. as a Showroom Manager, Sales Rep, and Design Consultant, where they worked with various clients to select and coordinate natural stone installations. Cheryl then transitioned to Intelligent Office, where they served as an Intelligent Assistant, providing administrative support. Cheryl later joined American Hotel Register as an Interior Designer, where they independently managed projects for new construction and renovation properties, developed design schemes, and served as the lead designer on multiple projects. After four years at American Hotel Register, Cheryl joined CallisonRTKL as a Senior Interior Designer, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they then joined HDR as a Senior Interior Designer and Team Lead, overseeing a team of designers until 2023. Currently, Cheryl works at CannonDesign as a Senior Interior Designer.

Cheryl Cook obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Interior Design from Colorado State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned another BS degree in Art Education from Florida State University, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. Alongside their formal education, Cheryl Cook has acquired several additional certifications. In 2019, they became a Certified Healthcare Interior Designer through AHID. The following year, they obtained the Fitwell Ambassador certification from the Fitwell Certification System. Cheryl also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com, which was obtained in 2018. Moreover, they obtained the NCIDQ certification in 2015.
