Kakarlapudi Drusya

Kakarlapudi Drusya has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Their most recent role was as an Architectural Designer at CannonDesign, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an AIA Event Coordinator at the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) from October 2021. In 2022, they completed a Summer Internship at CannonDesign. Drusya also gained experience as a Freelancing Architect at Infinite Design Studio, where they worked on residential and commercial interiors from May 2020 to June 2021. kakarlapudi began their career as an Architect at Na Architects from June 2018 to January 2020, and before that, they worked as an Architect at Yellow Architects from March 2017 to June 2018.

Kakarlapudi Drusya completed their Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in the field of Architecture at KL University from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued an intermediate degree in the field of mpc at Sri Chaitanya College of Education from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are attending Virginia Tech and is expected to complete their Master's degree in Architectural and Urban Design in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Drusya has obtained various certifications. kakarlapudi became an Associate AIA through The American Institute of Architects (AIA) in February 2023. In September 2022, they won the INTER SCHOOL DESIGN COMPETITION, an award bestowed by AIA Virginia. kakarlapudi achieved certification as a Certified Architect from the Council of Architecture - India in August 2020. Drusya has also acquired skills in Grasshopper on parametric facades through Equim in December 2020, Rhino through Udemy in July 2020, and Sketchup, Lumion, and Photoshop from Lomos Enterprises Private Limited in May 2020. Additionally, they received a certificate of service from STREETCAUSE-SREYAS in February 2018.
